Artist’s Statement on

Fool’s Paradise Series

For the past twenty years I have lived on the Scarborough Bluffs in close proximity to the Ontario Heritage home developed by the late, renowned artist Doris McCarthy. My association with Doris and her home, “Fool’s Paradise”, has spawned the creative impulse behind an

on-going series of paintings.

Through this series I attempt  to preserve and express the power of a home environment and the

objects of meaning within it.
